Performance
The standard 2.0-liter twin turbo four-cylinder engine comes paired to an eight-speed sport automatic transmission, delivering 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque to your right foot while also earning an EPA-estimated 36 highway mpg to Federal Way drivers. Front-wheel drive is the standard set-up with this engine, though BMW xDrive is an available option.
There's an available 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 that generates 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, with fuel economy numbers that get lowered thanks to the standard all-wheel drive -- as is common.
Features and Technology
As befits a modern luxury sports sedan, the 3 Series comes loaded with advanced technologies. An available full-color Head-up Display places vital data in front of you to help keep your focus on the road ahead, while an optional Live Cockpit Professional boasts a 12.3-inch digital display that's completely customizable. Then there's the new BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, which gives you control over entertainment, navigation, and vehicle settings. It's activated either by saying the words "Hey BMW," or by using an activation word of your choosing.
